In 2015, German Sherpa embarked on a mission to provide personalized financial consulting services to expats in Germany.
Our journey began with a simple question: “Do you know someone I can trust with my finances and who can advise me in English?”
The answer was clear, and the idea for a structured financial advisory service for expats in Germany was born.

participants and most of them, satisfied and happy expat clients.
Fast-forward to today, we have come a long way since our early beginnings. Our first structured approach to financial consulting for expats began in May 2018, and since then, we have hosted 48 face-to-face seminars in various cities, over 260 free online seminars, and numerous sports and cultural sponsorships.
To date, we have had the privilege of helping over 6,500 expats on their financial journeys in Germany.
Who we are
At German Sherpa, we are a team of dedicated financial advisors and specialists with diverse cultural backgrounds. Some of us are expats ourselves, while others have a German background but have lived abroad. This blend of varied experiences allows us to be passionate about working with intercultural clients. As different as our backgrounds and experiences are, we have one thing in common that unites us: Our passion to help expats in Germany achieve their financial goals and make their lives in Germany easier.
As we continue to grow and evolve, our goal is to become the #1 financial consultants for all expats in Germany and be known by every expat who moves to the country.
